Sew in love

Ever since spotting these rather fetching button-back love tubs on a recent trip to Oliver Bonas, I've been itching to get my hands on one. But with a £545 price tag, they don't seem like a sensible purchase for a pauper.

However, Easter weekend and a family outing to a second hand furniture shop in Saffron Waldon later, I'm now the proud new owner of my very own tub. It's current state needs a bit of love and a lot of imagination (so much so that my Dad claimed it couldn't possibly fit in his car and that I'd be mad to buy it).

I'm off to scout out some velvet fabric to get started!
